Kelly Hodges

Assistant Director, Faculty and Academic Staff Leadership Development

Kelly Hodges has joined the team as Assistant Director for Faculty and Academic Staff Leadership Development. Kelly will support FASA’s leadership development portfolio and help coordinate programs and initiatives designed to support academic and executive leaders throughout their careers. Kelly has been on the faculty at MSU since 1999, first in the College of Education and more recently in the College of Human Medicine. While in the College of Education, Kelly held various leadership roles in educator preparation, including Director of Accreditation, Educator Certification and Experiential Learning. She spent the past five years in the College of Human Medicine, most recently as the Director of Faculty Development and Mentoring Programs. Kelly is an MSU alumna and former high school mathematics teacher and holds a master's degree in mathematics education from Western Michigan University. Kelly brings diverse experience providing support for career development and success to academics in a wide range of appointment types as they navigate academic promotion and the assumption of leadership roles.
