The FASA team advises on:
- the reappointment, promotion and tenure (RPT) review processes
- faculty sabbatical leave requests and all other leave requests
- the annual review processes and performance management
- position elimination situations
- agreements around retirement
- the development and interpretation, of employment-related policies in the Faculty Handbook, the Academic Specialist Handbook, and other academic handbooks
- the cultivation of productive, respectful, and safe working environments
- when needed, on concerns pertaining to faculty behavior and discipline
