2025-26 Core Initiatives

Strengthening Foundations

Advancing People, Policy, and Progress

This priority encompasses our strategic focus on enhancing academic labor relations, fostering stakeholder collaboration, and modernizing policy frameworks to support a thriving institutional culture. It emphasizes data-informed decision-making, leadership development, and professional growth. Together, these efforts aim to build a resilient and high-performing academic and administrative environment.

FAS Career Success

Access, Development, and Support

Here, we focus on cultivating collaborative partnerships and meaningful engagement to foster trust and enhance working environments for faculty and academic staff. Via such initiatives as orientation programs, expanded professional development offerings, and strategic involvement with leadership councils and advisory committees, we support career growth and institutional integration.

Leadership Development

Present and Future

The goal is to cultivate strong, accountable leadership through structured reviews, mentorship, and orientation programs. We aim to integrate institutional and Big Ten Alliance initiatives to support administrators at all levels, while also continuing to improve transparency and foster continuous improvement. These efforts aim to build a sustainable leadership pipeline and foster a culture of excellence.
